Hi, I'm Amanda - the founder and heart behind Sacred Rose Therapy.
I create spaces for women to reconnect with themselves and others, feel seen and supported, and gently navigate the seasons of life that change us.
I'm so glad you are here.
I've been working in the helping and healing space since 2015, and over the years, my understanding of what it means to heal has softened and deepened.
I no longer see healing as something linear, or as a destination we eventually arrive at. I see it as an unfolding - one that asks us to meet ourselves differently through each season of our lives.
As a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, I bring a gentle, intuitive, and grounded approach to my work. I see you as a whole person, with your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, experiences, and inner world all woven together. There is room here for all of it.
My own lived experience, including walking through cancer and the transition of life after treatment, has shaped the way I hold space in a very real way. It has deepened my compassion, my presence, and my understanding of what it means to move through something that changes you - and then find your way forward from there.
I believe there is no single right way to move through life's difficult seasons. My role isn't to tell you who you should become, but to walk alongside you with curiosity, care, and respect as you reconnect with yourself and discover what comes next.
It would be an honor to meet you wherever you are.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME...
MY HOPE...
My hope is that, together, we can create space for you to reconnect with yourself - your voice, your values, your inner knowing, and the parts of you that may have become quiet along the way. A place where you can come exactly as you are, to slow down, to make room for what you have experienced and sit with what is shifting.
This work isn't about fixing you or getting you back to who you were. It's about meeting yourself where you are, honoring what has changed, and gently discovering who you are becoming.
Each session and experience I offer is thoughtfully shaped around the person or group in front of me. My role is to walk alongside you - creating a space where you can feel seen, supported, and free to be fully human.
You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to arrive.

WHAT'S IN A NAME?
Sacred Rose Therapy was born from the symbolism held within its name. The rose has long been a powerful emblem of beauty, softness, and strength coexisting. It represents the unfolding of the self - each petal opening in its own time - while the thorns remind us of the boundaries and protection we carry along the way. The rose also carries the essence of divine love - the deep feminine - rooted in intuition, compassion, and quiet power. It speaks to the heart, to love in all its forms, and to the cycles of growth, vulnerability, and becoming.
The word sacred reflects a deep reverence for this process. It honors the idea that our inner world, our stories, and our healing are not things to be rushed or fixed, but to be witnessed with care, intention, and respect. Together, Sacred Rose embodies a space where all parts of you are welcomed - tender, powerful, and ever-evolving.
THE ROSE OF VENUS
The Rose of Venus was chosen for my logo as it represents the healing and restorative properties associated with the divine feminine. Every 8 years, the dance of Venus and the Earth create this geometric pattern called the Rose of Venus. Each petal is said to represent a different stage on the pathway of life and to greater love. This symbol is a representation of beauty, love and passion, and is believed to have the power to heal the heart and soul. It is a reminder of the importance of caring and loving oneself. As a symbol, the Rose of Venus is a reminder to stay connected to the inner strength and power we all possess to heal and grow, and that life moves in cycles. There is a sacred order to all things.
