Hi, I'm Amanda - the founder and heart behind Sacred Rose Therapy, creating spaces for women to reconnect to themselves, heal, and rise. I'm so glad you are here!
I’ve been in the healing space since 2015, and over the years, my understanding of what it means to “heal” has softened and deepened. I honor the natural ebb and flow of it - the way it isn’t linear, and how it asks us to meet ourselves in many different seasons.

I see us as whole beings - mind, body, emotions, and something deeper within - and I believe each part deserves care and attention, as they are all connected and constantly informing one another.
​
I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, as well as trained in Reflexology and Reiki, and I bring a gentle, intuitive, and grounded approach into my work.
​
My own lived experience, including walking through and beyond cancer, has shaped how I hold space in a very real way. It’s deepened my compassion, my presence, and my understanding of what it means to move through life-altering change.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you - holding space with care, curiosity, and respect for wherever you find yourself on your path.

My Hope...
My hope for Sacred Rose Therapy is to offer a space where you can come as you are - especially in the seasons that feel heavy,
uncertain, or quietly transformative.

Through counselling and/or reiki, I support you in making sense of the darker or more confusing chapters of life… the ones that change you. The in-between spaces. The moments where life no longer feels the same, and you’re not quite sure how to find your way forward.
​
Together, we gently explore what’s been experienced, what’s shifting, and what’s ready to be reclaimed - so you can begin to reconnect with your core self, your inner knowing, and the life you feel called to live.
This work is about coming back to yourself, not fixing. About remembering what it feels like to truly be here, alive in your life
- not just moving through it.
Each and every session is tailored to you and your needs, and I am here to support you on your journey of healing, growth, and self-discovery. It is my hope that every person that I work with leaves feeling empowered, inspired, and connected to their true self.

WHAT'S IN A NAME?
Sacred Rose Therapy was born from the symbolism held within its name. The rose has long been a powerful emblem of beauty, softness, and strength coexisting. It represents the unfolding of the self—each petal opening in its own time—while the thorns remind us of the boundaries and protection we carry along the way. The rose also carries the essence of divine love—the deep feminine—rooted in intuition, compassion, and quiet power. It speaks to the heart, to love in all its forms, and to the cycles of growth, vulnerability, and becoming.
The word sacred reflects a deep reverence for this process. It honours the idea that our inner world, our stories, and our healing are not things to be rushed or fixed, but to be witnessed with care, intention, and respect. Together, Sacred Rose embodies a space where all parts of you are welcomed—tender, powerful, and ever-evolving.
THE ROSE OF VENUS
The Rose of Venus was chosen for my logo as it represents the healing and restorative properties associated with the divine feminine. Every 8 years, the dance of Venus and the Earth create this geometric pattern called the Rose of Venus. Each petal is said to represent a different stage on the pathway of life and to greater love. This symbol is a representation of beauty, love and passion, and is believed to have the power to heal the heart and soul. It is a reminder of the importance of caring and loving oneself. As a symbol, the Rose of Venus is a reminder to stay connected to the inner strength and power we all possess to heal and grow, and that life moves in cycles. There is a sacred order to all things.
