Welcome to
ROOT & RISE
A space for women who have been changed by cancer, illness, loss, or life-altering transitions - and are finding
their way back to themselves.

ROOT
&RISE
for women in the in-between
A place to gather, share honestly, and be met in the in-between - with quiet support and space to be witnessed in what’s still unfolding.

WHY ROOT & RISE?
Root & Rise was created for women in the in-between - those moments after life has shifted, where who you were no longer fits… but who you’re becoming isn’t fully clear yet.
Whether you’ve walked through illness, loss, burnout, or years of putting yourself last, this is a space to come back to yourself.
To root is to slow down, ground, and tend to what’s been held beneath the surface.
To rise is to gently rebuild from that place - with more clarity, self-trust, and connection.
Why choose this group?
Because you don’t have to navigate this season alone.
This space offers honest conversation, emotional support, and deeper reflection alongside other women who are also finding their way back to themselves.
It’s not about fixing who you are -
it’s about remembering, reclaiming, and rising into what’s next.
INTENTION BEHIND THIS GROUP:
The intention of this space is to support women through the in-between - the seasons where life has shifted, and you’re finding your way back to yourself.
It’s a place to slow down, be met where you are, and gently explore what’s been carried, what’s ready to be released, and what’s waiting to emerge.
Through shared conversation, reflection, and support, this group invites you to reconnect with your body, your voice, and your inner knowing - at your own pace.
There is no pressure to be anything other than honest.
This is about creating a grounded, supportive space where you can root into who you are… and rise into what’s next.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Root & Rise is an in-person, 2 hour group experience, offered only a few times per year to keep the space intentional, grounded, and intimate.
Each gathering is gently structured to offer both support and space.
We begin by arriving - a moment to slow down, land in your body, and transition out of the busyness of daily life. From there, gentle facilitation supports guided check-ins, where you’re invited (never pressured) to share what’s present for you.
Sessions may include reflective prompts, light guidance, and space for open conversation. At times, there may be simple practices woven in - such as grounding exercises, journaling, or gentle rituals - all offered in a way that feels accessible and supportive.
This isn’t a space for fixing or forcing growth.
You’re free to move at your own pace, share as much or as little as you need, and simply be where you are.
Above all, you can expect a steady, respectful environment where your experience is met with care - and where connection with other women becomes part of the healing process.
This is a space rooted in story, connection, and witnessing.
There is space to speak, to be heard, and just as importantly, to listen. Being in a room with other women navigating their own “in-between” can be deeply grounding - a reminder that you’re not alone in what you’re carrying.
You can expect a blend of:
-
Gentle facilitation and reflective prompts
-
Open sharing and supportive listening
-
Occasional grounding, journaling, or simple rituals
-
A space that honours both structure and flow
There’s no pressure to have it all figured out.
You’re free to share as much or as little as you need, and to simply be where you are.

THIS SPACE IS BEST SUITED FOR WOMEN WHO ARE:
-
Moving through life transitions such as illness, burnout, grief, divorce, or long-term self-sacrifice
-
In a season of “in-between” - where life has shifted and identity is unfolding
-
Longing to reconnect with themselves in a more honest, grounded way
-
Open to both sharing and holding space for others
A FEW GENTLE BOUNDARIES & GUIDELINES TO HELP SUPPORT THE GROUP:
-
Confidentiality is essential - what is shared in the group stays in the group
-
We listen with presence, not advice-giving or fixing
-
Each woman’s experience is respected as her own, without comparison or judgment
-
Sharing is always an invitation, never an expectation
Spots are limited to keep the group small and intentional. Upcoming group dates will be shared on the website as they are released. You’re also welcome to join the newsletter to stay in the loop for future offerings and registration openings.
